Life at the circus had never been stressful to Crush. He loved it here. Even though he was taken against his will and given a handful of new memories. He didn't have old memories. He wouldn't trade this life away at this point, because at this point this was the only life he ever knew. Crush's real name was Keagan O'Malley. He knew his name and had maybe a handful of memories of his own that were not altered before his time here, but other than that he had always been whatever Gavin wanted him to be.Crush didn't really have dreams or goals. He lived life day by day and each day he was just happy to be a part of this family. He liked the traveling involved and he hated humans just as much as the next guy. But as far as an actual life went....Crush didn't really have one. He spent his time putting on shows as the circus "Strong man" Demonstrating his feats of strength and awing the crowd, but that wasn't his passion.
Crush loved animals. More than anything if he had his way he would have been a veterinarian. But you can't be a veterinarian with massive hands the size of dog kennels. No, the circus was the only place for Crush. He sighed and brushed his hair up into a mohawk. Usually he kept it down, but when he performed his hair was spiked into an elebroate mohawk. He put on a pair of jeans and a tanktop and pushed his way out of his tent.
"Ladies and gentlemen feast your eyes on the amazing demonstration of strength. Put your hands together for the massive hands of Crush!" The spotlight hit him and he stepped out into the dusty straw filled circle under the bigtop lights. There was a packed crowd and with a yawn and a disinterested look Crush walked over to some steal gurters that had been laid out.
Crush picked them up, one in each hand and balled them up like flimsy pieces of paper. He slapped his hands together bending and twisting the metal into one big piece. The metal collided with such force that it turned into a single piece of metal. Crush threw it over his shoulder and it hit the floor with a tent rattling thud. The next thing he did was pick up a 98' Honda Civic and stand it up on it's back wheels. He Stood the car up on it's trunk until the entire underside was exposed. Crush was just going through the motions. He had did this act a hundred times and each time it was getting more and more boring.
Punching the underside of the car he bent the car in half. Then he pulled down on the hood until it folded in half like a piece of bread. Crush slammed his massive balled up fists on it the car until it was flat as a board then he picked it up and frisbeed it out of the tent. To the crowd's eruption of cheers and awes. He was about to move over to the brick wall and slowly punch it into rubble when he noticed Kiara in the crowd. Keagan stopped in his tracks. His mouth hung open and suddenly his heart was racing. She was so fucking beautiful. A goofy smile spread across his face.
Suddenly he wasn't just going through the motions, but now he was actually trying to impress the lass. Jogging over to the brick wall Crush began punching holes in the brick. A whole brick wall reduced to rubbish in only 4 short punches. He took a bow and tossed a wink into the crowd just for her. Though the whole arena was applauding him his eyes were only on her.

Kiara wasn’t entirely sure how she ended up at the circus but it was a quick, easy escape when her plan dived off the rails and left her centre of the chaos that followed. She’d robbed a wealthy man of a beautiful antique bracelet from the 14th century only to find him returning to his precious jewels a moment too early for her escape to go unnoticed. She’d left him and the two bulky men who did a shit job at protecting his assets in ashes and a building ablaze. Needless to say, she didn’t entirely have much time to leave the site without being noticed. The distinct smell of smoke and ash lingered about her and she had the expensive antique tucked into a pocket on the inside of her black leather jacket. So Kiara made a quick decision to blend into the crowds of the circus while a very determined security company searched the region for a cat burglar with an affinity for fire.
She stumbled into a nearby tent almost too fast and found herself glaring at the old man who gawked at her almost mischievous appearance. Nevertheless, no one paid her much attention when the show started. She had absolutely no idea what to expect but she could feel the subconscious tug of her fingers by her jacket, if only to reassure her that the weight of the jewels were still comfortably within her grasp. An almost annoyed huff slipped through her lips at the idea of sealing their beauty away for a while until the heat died down and she could sell it to a few interesting individuals with too much money on their hands. She’d lost track of the show for a few long moments as she drove her thoughts through her next steps for the coming days.
Her mind was driven from the complex plans as she watched a bulky stranger toss folded metal like it was nothing. She was impressed really, somewhat envious of his strength but she wouldn’t trade her mutation for the world. She hated it for a long time but it got her out of more tough situations than she could count. Kiara’s eyes were glued on the sight in front of her, she crossed one leg over the other and folded her arms almost protectively over the stolen antique.
Kiara felt her eyes grow wide at the sight of the car bending in like it wasn’t anything more than a sheet of paper, honestly, it was a very curious feat of strength. She peeked her head out of the tent to see a bulky man in a dark suit scan the crowds but she wasn’t all that worried when he passed by the tent. Kiara had half a mind to turn him to ashes but found the idea unnerving with so many witnesses so she stayed put and watched the curious mutant perform. For a second she was confused, unsure if the wink she noticed was directed at her or the awfully old lady just slightly in front of her. She offered a cautious smirk in return, still somewhat unsure.
Her palms met one another in a short applaud until she felt a harsh grip on her elbow. For a moment she was ready to shove her elbow into the stranger’s face until she remembered the countless witnesses about, she didn’t need trouble leading the authorities to her even if she was counted a victim by eyewitness accounts. Kiara still had stolen jewels on her and prison didn’t suit her as much as people thought it did.
It wasn’t long after that she felt the hard edges of a gun’s barrel press into her back and a shadow loomed over her. The voice in her ear was gruff but low, a whispered threat. “Don’t fight it”, she smirked almost challengingly but followed his harsh grasp regardless. The stranger pulled her through the busy crowds and shoved her into the first trailer he could find. She glared at the man as she regained her balance from a rough shove into a small counter and faced him with a fearless nonchalance.
“You’re not exactly smart, are you?”, she stepped forward for a second until he lifted the barrel into the soft flesh of her chest and she found herself outright laughing. “I burned your boss and his lackeys to a crisp. You should be running for the hills”, her fingers erupted into small, delicate flames that quickly trailed up the length of her arms. It broke his focus long enough for her to grab his wrist with fiery palms. She could feel the flesh bubble under the heat. The gun sounded silently as he fired in an effort to get her off, luckily it missed her, mostly. She felt the bullet graze the skin of her side, it wasn’t anything too bad, it was better than most injuries she’d sustained in her line of business. Still, he was in pain, enough so that she could pull the weapon from his grasp and shove a healed boot to his chest before watching him fall back out the very door he’d shoved her in through. Kiara’s arms were ablaze and her glare even more so, she didn’t go through all that trouble to steal the jewels only to be stopped by a bulky dick in a cheap suit.

Kiara's little spat had lasted longer than she realized. The time it took her to be led out of the tent and carried to this trailer..... Crush had finished his bit in the show. He took his eyes off the girl in the crowd for only a moment and she was gone. That was the luck of his life. He was kind of bummed not having the girl stick around and honestly he could care less about the rest of the show.
Moving through the crowds of people he ignored the gawking eyes staring at his massive hands. They hung by his sides as he grumpily walked back to his trailer. He didn't get far when he saw someone hurled out of his trailer. The door was facing away from the crowds in this discrete little edge of the clearing. Crush's trailer was away from it all because he liked his solitude. He often sat and moped about how he had nobody to really talk to.
He had plenty to say to the asshole flying out of his trailer. "What the hell do ye think ye....." He stopped when he saw her. Standing there looking like a glass of water to a man dying of thirst. She was as beautiful as the irish country side after a spring rain. And Crush had never even seen an irish country side. At least, not one that he could remember. Crush watched the trickle of flame dance along her skin. Kissing her sleeves and moving their way down her arms. She was like him. Only different. "This asshole giving ye trouble lass?" He asked looking only and directly at her.
The man tried to scurry to his feet but Crush shoved him back into the dirt with a single foot. "Stay there fella. No one told ye to move." He looked back at Kiara. His heart was fucking melting. This....This is what love felt like. Though in his heart he didn't really believe she could fall in love with a big clumsy looking oaf with television sized hands. Crush wore his hair in a mohawk because mostly it was the only hairstyle he could manage. He'd just slap his big meaty hands together and pull up to straighten the hair out. Brushing was just not feasible.
Crush saw the slight look of worry in her eye and took it upon himself. He reached down and picked up the thug with a single hand around his throat. It only took a slight squeeze to break his neck. He only decided to break the guy's neck after ne noticed the bloody on her shirt. Piece of shit. Crush tossed the body with a flick of his wrists it landed in the high weeds. "Ye okay lass?" Crush didn't think anything of cold blooded murder. He had done it a million times for Gavin and the thought never crossed his mind twice.

Kiara had a somewhat awkward smirk set over her lips, partially confused about one the circus performer running into her annoying little scuffle with the asshole and somewhat coated in the ghost of a painful grimace at the slight throbbing at her side. It wasn’t entirely painful, more annoying than anything else. A brow raised at his question and she found herself dousing the flames trailing up her arms at a single thought. She missed the caress of the flames the moment it died down but the heat was ever present. Most people couldn’t understand the almost feverish heat that was always present in her skin but she loved every second of it. Her mutation was her power and she was addicted to it.
“He was trying” she told him humorously knowing the only damage he did was a barely bleeding wound against her side. He ruined her jacket though, that in itself was enough to urge the fire in her veins but she was calm enough. Most mutants tended to stick together and she didn’t exactly feel danger in the presence of the unique performer. She could see the fear in the man’s face as he tried scurried off though, it was a sweet sight to her mind and she couldn’t help but grin.
She watched calmly, one shoulder leaning against the open doorway and heard the soft crack of the man’s neck breaking. Honestly, she would’ve preferred the delight of teaching him who to cross and who not but the gesture was still well appreciated. She saw life leave his eyes as his limp body being tossed aside. She chuckled softly at Crush’s question and stepped down with an ever present sway of her hips.
“I’m perfect actually”, her fingers subtly trailed over her jacket and the weight of the antique jewels. She didn’t mind the soft sting of a wound as she patted her slender fingers against Crush’s shoulder, “Impressive, the whole killing thing. Not so good at the clean-up”, there was a humorous tone to her voice as she stepped towards the weeds, reached down and watched the body burn in a low flame she controlled to keep suspicions down. The fire was still severely hot and turned the corpse from flesh and bone to a charred mess until nothing but ashes remained. It took a few minutes but Kiara drew the flames to a dead stop when the evidence of their wrong doing blew away in a light breeze.
“Didn’t catch your name big guy?”, she turned to look at Crush with her arms folded over her chest before circling the mutant with a curious glance. He didn’t have to help but he did, she was almost tempted to compensate him when she sold the jewels but she was greedy and the efforts to get them belonged to her so she decided against it. A minute’s curious conversation however was very doable and cost her absolutely nothing.

Keagan almost began to blush. He smiled lightly at her and took a theatrical bow. "Me name's Keagan O'Malley. I be the circus strongman. Most just call me Crush." He declared. Reaching out one of his massive hands he scooped up Kiara under her bottom and lifted her into the air. She had enough room to sit on his hand in the palm like an insect. Even had space to place a hand on either side of herself and lean back on her hands.Lifting her level with the roof he allowed her to step off the palm of his hand onto the roof. Crush took a few steps back while holding up one of his massive fingers. He wrapped his massive hands around a tree trunk and ripped it from the very earth which soiled it. He grunted and hurled the tree back over the horizon. The tree got smaller and smaller until it disappeared from sight. Crush turned back to her and took a modest bow. "Well go on lass, your like'me. Don't be afraid to show me what ye can do."
He was intrigued more or less by the brief moment of fire he saw dancing at the tips of her fingers. He wanted to see her fully unleash it. He wanted to see the pure raw, unbridled power that laid within her veins. Crossing his arms again his. Before she started though he also added "And I didn't catch your name either love. But it okay... Angel's don't usually have names do they?" He asked with a smirk. Yeah, maybe he had a little smoothness in him.
Crush still had his arms crossed against his chest. He was hoping she was the competitive sort and would want to out do what he could do. He wouldn't mind getting into a 'anything you can do I can do bet' one off competition with a beautiful stranger. It wasn't like anyone was watching them. Least of all anyone important. Crush knew Gavin. Crush knew that if Gavin saw the impressive flicker of her abilities he might just want to take her for himself. Gavin was a collector of curious and exotic powers. He would say in his defense that he was just trying to build the greatest show on earth, but others whispered that he was building an army. No one really knew for sure. And though Crush was very loyal to Gavin and considered his right hand man and main enforcer... There were times where Gavin's motives were unclear even to him. Sometimes.... He gave Crush a bad feeling.
Crush didn't hate humans like Gavin did. They could be assholes for sure and he had not really met very many ones who were ever nice to him, but he didn't hate them. Crush was a brute and a intimidating figure, but he was very sweet at heart. He didn't mind murder, he wouldn't bat an eye at it, but he was a softer tender hearted man who believed in love and romance. Other than doing what Gavin said to do Crush had never really had much time outside of the show to do what he wanted. He stood back and waited for the show to begin. "Give us a show lass!" He called out to her with cupped hands around his mouth that made his voice like a megaphone.

Kiara circled the mutant with intrigue and nodded as he spoke. No wonder he’d earned the title of their strongman, a very useful mutation in it’s own way. She wondered if she should call him Crush or Keagan but decided it didn’t really mean much. It was a brief encounter that wouldn’t contribute to much of anything and it wouldn’t be long before she’d move onto the next victim of her criminal endeavours. She gasped softly at the sudden scoop but found herself relaxing nonetheless. It wasn’t a threatening act and she didn’t deem it fit to overreact over a small bit of height. One hand rested on his palm to steady her posture while the other tenderly and subtly pressed against the dull, annoying sting at her side. It was barely there but annoyingly persistent nonetheless.
She stepped off his palm with a gentle sway of her hips and turned to watch another brief show of strength with folded arms and a curious smirk. The trailer shook in the slightest as the roots of the tree tore free from the soil beneath them. It was impressive to say the least, something that was so fitting to the performer just like her fire was as much a part of her soul as it was a part of her physiology. The tree grew small as it sped over the horizon to a space she could no longer see. She clapped her hands slowly and softly at the small performance and grinned at his request. There was mischief in her gaze and trouble about her soul. She was as much the fire as the fire was her. Kiara was a fierce flame in a bland, dull world.
Kiara took off the leather jacket adorning her shoulders and tossed it aside with a careless confidence. The navy tank top underneath was stained darker by her side, but not by much. The flesh wound was barely visible as she prepared herself for a cocky display of her own mutation. She was arrogant to be honest, fully confident in her abilities and proud of it. She smiled with a playful wink at his compliment before stepping into the middle of the roof with her palms outstretched. It started small at first, the flicker of a fickle flame at her fingertips and like a wildfire catching wind it spread. It caressed her wrists and entwined itself in intricate vines around her arms in beautiful, fierce fire.
At a final request for a show she couldn’t help but embrace the curiosity of the man who cracked a stranger’s neck for her. It was only fair, besides, she was a full blown show off. Kiara closed her eyes for a brief second before the fire grew exponentially and swirled around her in one, thick wave of unimaginable heat. It didn’t burn her, she was simply amidst a ball of fire that blew her hair out of control. She knew he wouldn’t be able to see her within the flames, at least not until she willed the whirling fire to a complete halt and stepped through unharmed. The ball of fire dissipated in one quick motion but the intricate flames adorning her exposed flesh didn’t shift. They stretched past her arm like a snake and lapped around the stranger as she sat down on the edge of the roof and drew every ounce of her fire into nonexistence.
Kiara had never really unleashed her fire in full, it was dangerous and she didn’t know if she could control it that much. That didn’t mean she wouldn’t want to but the devastation of it would be too risky and as much as she didn’t mind killing, she didn’t want to have a mass murder on her hands. It would simply make her far too famous for the likes of a cat burglar with expensive tastes.
“Good enough big fella?”, she smiled quite honestly with open arms hoping the who was as entertaining to see as it was to live through. Kiara loved everything about her fire because it was the greatest representation of what she was. Fierce and dangerous. A combination most didn’t live to see.

Crush watched her abilities in quiet awe. She was as beautiful as a phoenix and as rare as one too he wagered. She was the perfect combination of danger and beauty. The slender form of your own demise if you were not careful. If looks could kill he would be writhing on the ground twitching like a bug on a windshield. She was that beautiful. He said nothing but the smile lighting his face was obvious as he watched her demonstration.
He was love struck. And not just a puppy love kind of love. He had believed he had found his soul mate. Though she was way out of his league, he believed in love at first sight and how could anyone who made him feel this way not be the love of his life? Everyone gets as least one of those or so they say. The fiery snake that wrapped around him caused him to reel back a bit. The heat was immense and he could feel the drips of sweat moving down his face. Pit stains almost daring to form under his arms from the heat his shirt was warm like it came out of the drier and damp from sweat all at the same time.
It was all marvelous and wonderful. She turned off the flames and cockily sat there staring at him. Asking him if it was good for him. It most certainly was, he was very impressed. In fact. He would have left the circus entirely and went anywhere she asked him too if he lived in a world where such ridiculous dreams were possible. Though Crush was snapped out of his awestruck wonder when he heard Gavin's voice calling for him. Oh shit! He thought. Crush ran over and kicked the trailer with his powerful leg. It hit with enough force to rock the trailer and cause Kiara to fall off the roof.
Crush caught her of course with his massive hands. He held her in a way that resembled the movie poster for King Kong. The massive ape holding the woman by the waist as he climbed the empire state building. Grabbing her from her fall Crush grabbed the door to his trailer and about ripped it open. He tossed her inside hastily and she flopped on the bed with no gentle touch at all. He slammed the door shut behind her and turned to hear Gavin calling him a second time. "Aye! I'm at me trailer." He called back. That was close. He hoped that Gavin didn't see the flames in the sky.
Shit, if Gavin saw...Then he would want her to join the circus, and while Crush had absolutely no problem with that Gavin was not the type to take no for an answer. He would wipe your memories and force you here if he had too. Crush couldn't bear the thought of his beautiful fiery peach being shangheighed into service.
A beautiful dove like her deserved to fly free. Crush was looking as nervous as a whore in church when Gavin showed up. Gavin was wearing a flashy pinstripe suite with a straw hat. He didn't look all to pleased. In fact he looked down right annoyed. Crush was still sweating though no for entirely different reasons. He pressed his massive frame against the door so Kiara couldn't pop out unexpectedly asking just what the fuck his problem was. There was a small window beside the door with light curtains. His trailer was very old fashioned.

She's as fierce as the fire she wields.
TAG: @username. WORDS: XXX. NOTES: NOTES HERE
The whole mess of events that ensued left Kiara baffled and somewhat annoyed. She could hardly even hold on when he kicked the trailer, her palms instinctively stretched out before her to help cushion the fall from the trailer only to grasp onto his gigantic palm. “What the hell are you doing?!”, the worlds barely snuck through the confines of her lips when she felt herself being tossed inside the trailer. Kiara half expected to fall harshly into any of the many items within but found herself gasping softly at the rough tumble onto the bed. She sat upright, her dark hair messy and her lips agape as she watched the door slam. There was still a clear resonance of his voice as he talked to someone she didn’t know, Kiara didn’t appreciate his actions in the least. She wanted control, she yearned for it every second of her life and being tossed into a trailer in sight of a stranger was enough to make her blood boil.
Fire instinctively trailed up her he arms before she even relished in their comforting heat. It was a natural instinct, one that begged release like a caged beast. Fire trailed her skin and she felt the trailer grow warm in her presence. She wanted to feel the fire within her spread, simply because it fuelled her irritation like her irritation fuelled it. It was a flawless circle of destruction that was either impressive or awfully dangerous. She didn’t really care.
Kiara sauntered towards the door and kicked her boot against it, when it didn’t waver she suspected a particular mutant was the cause. “Oh fuck this”, she held an open pam towards the small window to the side if the door and watched the fire shoot out at with a massive force that shattered it’s crystalline borders and left the curtain in ashes. She didn’t know Gavin or the dangers he possessed, Kiara didn’t take well to losing control over the situation and she wanted out.
“Take it as a warning shot! The door’s next!”, she called out cupping her flaming hands to her lips before backing as far away from the door as she could. She built up a massive ball of entwined fire inside her open palms until it was as big wide as her shoulders. With a flick of her wrists, she sent it barrelling towards the door. She didn’t want to hurt Crush but she wasn’t opposed to the idea if it granted her freedom. Kiara spent every second hoping he took her threat to heart and backed away from the coming heat. She knew there was enough force to her fire to tear the door free of it’s hinges and leave it in smouldering embers outside, there was no telling what impact it would have on Crush or the stranger outside. Kiara watched the door rip from its hinges and stepped into the mess and smoke of her bold exit before looking to Crush with a slight glare.
“Never. Do. That. Again”, she stepped forward with a casual wave of her palm and a quick flip off. She would have liked to get to know the unique mutant some more but the fire in her veins was a dangerous fuel to her desire for chaos. The flames enveloping her skin died down into nothing as she attempted an irritated exit from Crush and the stranger with the ghost of a frown atop her lips.
